Now let's have a friendly argument…

Most 'Anti-Entrapment' devices for MEWP's rely on the operator being crushed onto the safety device, before it activates. (Often it is a proprietary 'Safety-Edge', designed for Electronic Gates & Doors). DON'T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT...! Look up MEWP Anti-Entrapment systems and take a look at their promotional videos, some showing operators pushed against beams by several tonnes of vehicle. OUCH...! Good practice. Right? We don't think so.

So we developed the A-R-C-Angel™, which is our, Anti-Rear-Crush-Angel™ system, that activates before the operator is struck. It consists of two flip up 'Angel Wings', that are mounted on the safety cage rail, behind the operator.  They can be connected by a see-through protective mesh, that prevents narrow hazards, e.g. Girders or Scaffold poles, from passing between the two wings and striking the operator in the back.

 when the 'Angel Wings' are pushed against, they activate a pressure switch, (section of 'Bendy-Switch™' that can trigger a MEWP's pre-programmed safety reaction and/or, trigger an alarm system, to alert colleagues that an impact has occurred.
